The ThinkPad R40e Li-Ion battery is a rechargeable system battery for the ThinkPad R40e system. This spare system battery can replace the original battery or can be easily swapped in to extend the unplugged computing time of the ThinkPad R40e notebook. This six-cell battery option delivers an output of 14.4 V. It can be recharged in as little as 3.0 to 4.0 hours, depending on the ThinkPad system usage while recharging.
